Even the mainly agrarian countries in the region feel the influence of the powerful industrial economies.

The present publication is one of the key outputs of the industrial statistics project implemented by UNIDO and funded by voluntary contribution of the Russian Federation. It provides an impartial statistical analysis of the growth trends and structural changes in the industry of the CIS region and contains a large number of statistics that gives the reader the opportunity to develop his own judgments on the research topic.
